Autumn was full of fascinating events at our Conference Department.
The season began unusually – in September, an English interpreter selected by Lidex accompanied a client during their visit to the Arctic World Archive.
Then, things became a bit more conventional: we provided eight booths for simultaneous interpretation for the owner of a chain of discount multi-sector stores. These booths were staffed by interpreters for English, Czech, Spanish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Hungarian, and Italian.
In early October, the world of science and culture eagerly awaited the announcement of the Nobel Prize winners. During this time, our English interpreters were on duty at the University of Warsaw, supporting live coverage of these momentous events.
At the end of October, Lidex provided both language and technical support during the ceremonial inauguration of the 90th anniversary of ZUS.
Also in October, we provided hybrid interpreting support for a prestigious event in Pomerania Region. Our remote interpreting studio in Warsaw facilitated this with 16 simultaneous English interpreters working over several days.
This autumn, our technicians and interpreters (English, Portuguese, and Croatian) also visited the National Stadium during the Nations League football matches. Incidentally, we helped make a young boy’s dream come true: he got to see CR7 in action 😊.
Throughout the autumn, we provided technical support including sound systems, LED screens, lighting, and multimedia – for numerous events, both large and small. One highlight was in November, when we supported an event at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
Now that winter is almost here, we can’t help but dream of offering language and technical support for events in warmer corners of the world 😉.
We warmly invite you to contact our Conference Department!
