The spring conference season has been intense and busy, but with the end of the sixth month of the year it was time for holidays and rest. However, before everyone heads off on a well-deserved holiday, we would like to share our summary of interesting events held in June.
At the end of May and the beginning of June, a meeting of creators associated in the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) was held in Warsaw, honoured with the presence of CISAC’s President, the legendary electronic music composer Jean-Michael Jarre.
The sessions were accompanied by smaller events, during which LIDEX provided linguistic and technical support and voting systems.
A few days later, a conference of the European People’s Party was held within the walls of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. During this event, we provided booths and a simultaneous system for almost 400 people, as well as multimedia and technical support.

Delegations from 16 countries from Central and Eastern Europe and China visited the National Centre for Film Culture and EC1 in Łódź and the Silesian Museum in Katowice between 13 and 15 June as part of the Third Creative Sectors Forum Central and Eastern Europe China. One of these conferences was the next edition of the European Statistics Conference. During the 4-day debates, around 500 specialists, academics, officials were able to learn about different innovative ways of looking at various social and economic phenomena. The conference was held at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, but in the evenings the debate also moved to interesting restaurants on the Kraków market square.
Our Gdynia Branch Office also had a lot of work in the past month.
On request of one of our customers, they provided Finnish interpretation during a trip to a production plant in Finland, as well as technical and linguistic support for another customer during the premiere of Premium cars and interpretation during the Medal of Gratitude award ceremony at the European Solidarity Centre.
The full list of events is much longer, as LIDEX is always there where history is being made.
