Today we would like to share information about Lidex’s latest actions for sustainable development. We have been working for charity for years, we support – within our possibilities – initiatives from the world of culture, art, and international cooperation. We also undertake our own projects in the field of equality and environmental protection.
COMPANY WITH A HEART
This is the third year in a row (2021, 2022, 2023) when we joined the UNICEF “Company with a Heart” programme, which supports children from areas at risk of war and famine.
CAREER CYCLE
We also joined the Career Cycle programme of the Kulczyk Foundation. We are, after all, a company where the majority of employees are women, and at the same time social aspects, creating a friendly working environment and equal opportunities are genuinely important to us. The Career Cycle programme is devoted to combating a taboo problem – menstrual poverty. We encourage you to read the information on this subject as well as to join the Programme.
DIPLOMATIC OPENING OF THE YEAR 2023
As usual, as a Technical Partner of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, we will provide comprehensive technical and translation services for the “Diplomatic Opening of the Year” – on 9 February 2023 at the headquarters of the PKOL Olympic Center. This cyclical event organised by the Polish Chamber of Commerce facilitates the determination of Poland’s place in the area of international economic and trade cooperation, and thus is an important element of broadly understood economic diplomacy.
“LOVE AND DUTY” EXHIBITION AT THE ROYAL CASTLE IN WARSAW
As a Partner of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, we have had the pleasure of supporting this institution in the field of translation and conference services for years. On 23 January, we had the opportunity to provide equipment and technical support for the press conference and the opening of the “Love and Duty” exhibition. The exhibition devoted to the January Uprising of 1863 shows the stories of specific people being part of a community that rose up to fight for independence. May the participation in this exhibition become our tribute to specific people who, here and now, in 2023, are part of communities fighting for their independence.
