Lidex – we are

where history is made

  • News from the Katowice branch

On February 24, the whole world went upside-down. We all became focused on helping our Ukrainian neighbours – we have been and are helping as much as we can. Most recently, on March 8, we encouraged you to participate in a webinar translated into Ukrainian by the Katowice Lidex branch, “Whether and how to talk to your child about a crisis situation?”

Yet we gradually come to realize that we just need to be strong, we need to focus on our actions, our goals. We will then be in a better position to deal with – as we all predict – long-term assistance to the war-stricken Ukrainians.

With this, we would like to share with you news from our Katowice branch:

We have, for instance, been awarded contracts for providing translation services for the Silesian Museum and the Metropolis GZM, and we have already been implementing our first interesting projects for these clients. We are very happy about that!

Also, sign interpreting has become a regular service provided by the branch. Just recently, we have provided sign interpreting services for 9 panels of a ministerial conference. For this event, we have also developed sign language interpreting of promotional videos.

We are also very proud to be the service provider of the first conference of Word Urban Forum 11 titled “Metropolitan Conference”, which took place in a hybrid formula. Lidex has provided comprehensive multimedia production and translation services in Polish, English and French. With the state-of-the-art technological solutions, the panellists from Canada, Spain and France were able to actively engage in the discussion, and the viewers could follow the event on YT.

As you can see, we provide a wide range of services. So, if you are looking for a reliable Silesian provider of translation and conference services (including hybrid and on-line services), you are more than welcome to join us.

    Merry Christmas 2021
